With I'm InTouch remote access service installed on your desktop PC, you can now view and attach files from your desktop PC when you compose an email on your Blackberry. Emails received at your desktop PC are sent to your Blackberry with the ability to view attachments. You also have real-time access to contacts and calendar entries residing on your distant PC. No synchronization of information with I'm InTouch. This is real-time wireless access to your computer that is connected to the Internet and running I'm InTouch. I'm InTouch also supports remote access to your distant computer using any other computer on the Internet. Access from another computer allows you to view your PC's desktop as if you were sitting at it. 6 months of service with your initial subscription/purchase, then $9.95 per month.
Easy to Install and Use
I'm InTouch remote access service is enabled by loading software on your desktop computer that seamlessly integrates with your Windows operating system and with no prior networking knowledge required. Your existing PC's security and firewall settings are maintained. Using the web browser of your Blackberry, you enjoy remote access to your PC's file system and Outlook or Outlook Express email client. I'm InTouch allows you to locate and login to your personal computer that is on and connected to the Internet. Compose a new email, attach a file from your PC and have your computer send it with your default email account and signature. View important documents or contact information as if you were at your computer.
Requirements
I'm InTouch is installed on a desktop computer running Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista. The computer should be connected to the Internet using a high-speed, always-on, connection like cable modem, DSL or LAN connection. Your existing PC's security and firewall settings are maintained with no configuration changes required. Access is made to your computer by logging in using your browser on your Blackberry.
